Love Without Fear Spring Campaign

A spring campaign honoring the beloved pets of our Coalition community

This spring, we are making space to honor some of the quiet, faithful companions who help sustain us.

Our pets.

In a time when so many in our community are doing hard work, showing up, organizing, resisting injustice, and caring for one another, it is often our pets who help carry us through. They sit with us in our grief. They make us laugh when we need it most. They pull us outside, remind us to breathe, and offer love that is steady and without condition.

For many in our community, especially LGBTQ+ people, our pets are family. They are sources of comfort, joy, and grounding in a world that can feel overwhelming.

This campaign is an invitation to pause and recognize that love.

  • To remember the companions who have walked with us.
  • To celebrate the ones still by our side.
  • To make space for joy, even in the midst of hard times.

We invite you to share a photo or story of your beloved pet. Throughout the spring season, we will lift up these stories across our community as a witness to the love that sustains us.

We are also raising $5,000 in honor of these companions. These funds will support a new microgrant program launching this June. Grants of up to $500 will help Open and Affirming churches connect their work beyond their walls and into the wider community.

This is how we honor the love we have received.
We keep doing good in the world.

Spring is a season of new life. A season of remembering that even after loss, love remains.

Let us love without fear.
